MTB2026

MTB2026, the 9^th International Meeting on Magnetotactic Bacteria, has been held at Qingdao, China, from June 28 - July 2, 2026.

Among the scientific presentations were also contributions from the microbiology department of the University of Bayreuth: Jakob Beierl, doctoral student in the microbiology department, Zhe Wang, doctoral student in the lab of Prof. Wei Lin, currently on a one-year research stay in the Schüler lab, and Prof. Dirk Schüler.
